Carping Diem: The Prize.
By Brent Diggs on May 2, 2007 in Harold Toboggans, Humor
As a reward for all the diligent effort in our recent caption contest, the illustrious Dr. Toboggans has opted to grace us with his illuminating wisdom and vast wealth of charm.
Click on the speaker-thingy to hear him for yourself.
Note: Feed and Email subscribers may have to come into the site to access the audio, I really don’t know because this is Cutting Edge Technology. (I.E. I’ve never done this before.)

Wow. Toboggans has a sexy, Robert Goulet voice, huh?
Maybe he should consider a singing career.
Thank you, I know he will appreciate your compliments, however singing is not in the doctors immediate future.
But I would remiss if I did not mention that his distant relative Ruckus MacMullit will be singing on the soon to be released Danger Couch DVD: Danger Couch and the Tinsel of Doom. Which my partners and I are working feverishly upon.
I will keep Comma fans posted, just in case they may be interested.
He sounds exactly as I imagined he would…of course, I’m frequently over medicated.
If he’s out, where is out to? He promised me another session from jail. The fish parts are getting old.
Lynn,
I think you might need to have your medication adjusted. I hate to mention it but you don’t sound very coherent.
Perhaps it is something the doctor has you on.
Ha! That was great.
The doctor excels at greatness. He is just gifted that way.
In fact, he is considering suing Paramount for giving the name, “the Doctor”, to a character on Star Trek: Voyager.
I tried to tell him that the show ended years ago and to let the past stay in the past, but he never listens. It must be all that greatness.
It goes to his ears.
Y’know Brent, I agree “the Doctor” is greatly gifted, and now that I have heard his voice maybe it’s time for him to hire a stylist to match that GREAT voice.
What do you think?
I know I just saw him at the beach reprimanding some kid on a skateboard.
Thanks for stopping by Mimi Writes. I hope you checked out the peace globe and will participate in the project.
I will be back to read more of your funny blog.
Peace,
Mimi

Knowing the good Doctor personally and having heard him lecture on many occasions I felt that the sound bite came across much “warmer” then he usually sounds.
Oh, if you do see “Doc-To-Boc” tell him I still salivate when I hear the bell.
I guess old habits die hard. (Especially when re-enforced with electric shocks to the temples)
Also tell him that I miss the colored lights and the little piece of corn that would magically drop into my bowl when I pressed the correct panel.

Debbie,
Thank you for the shoe and the orange marmalade. I appreciate your attention to detail. The green grass grows in the garden with geraniums, but not around giraffs. Thank you.
(The sound of a man falling out of his chair is heard, accompanied by peals of uncontrollable laughter. Early morning coffee sprays across the room from the broken cup)
Lynn,
Da do run run run da do run run.
Love you anyway,
Deb
Lynn,
Be prepared.
