Doctor Harold Toboggans
“I’m not easy to amaze,
but somehow I do it again and again.”
Dr. Toboggans is the staff psychologist, resident motivational speaker, and official personal development coach of the Ominous Comma.
For the greater good of humanity, Dr. Toboggans has graciously granted us permission to publish outtakes and excerpts from his various sessions, capturing the master at work encouraging, mentoring, and assaulting people into their fullest potential, no matter how small it might be.

Somehow that just does not surprise me. I have a question for the compassionate Dr. What would you do if you found out that you had two weeks to live?
Excellent question Lynn.
I’m sure Dr. Toboggans, Harry, will prove me wrong, but I’m thinking someone as brilliant and compassionate as the Dr.; who has lead his life as close to perfection as any one human could; who has the strength and courage of his convictions; who leads the professional psychiatric world with brave new treatment techniques…would go home and cry like a baby.
As much as Dr. T values primal scream therapy, I believe his own coping mechanism would be to face death just as he faced life: with arrogance, scorn, and distain.
But that’s just me.
Dr. T is an arrogant little turd…
Still find him strangely appealing. Hopefully he is in good health and will continue to amaze and assault the good people of the OC.
Well, I really don’t anyone has answered the question. Are you all in avoidance for any particular reason? We need the good Dr. to give a word or two here.
Sorry, the doctor is in Tibet right now. It seems like he said something about coaching the Dali Lama in methods of stress free living. Either that or he is mediating another American Idol feud among the monks.
I can’t really remember, it’s one of the side effects of electrochoke.
Tibet! The monks don’t need the doctor as much as we do! Bring him back!!!!
I’ll see what I can arrange.
Don’t give me excuses, give me results!
