I’d prefer reading in my native language, because my knowledge of your languange is no so well. But it was interesting! Look for some my links:

John,

Mr. Fording conveys his thanks for your interest and your willingness to serve as a source for him, but asks that you not mention your "discovery" to the Pulitzer Committee until they have finalized his selection.

Just between us, I knew he was doing something wrong in Cambodia. I tried to tell him that puppies must always be planted barking-side up, but he never listens to me.

As for his whereabouts, the last time he checked in he said something about being wrapped up in a story about the Burmese Python population of the everglades.

The tragic revelation of the Cambodian puppy farming expose (and a point completely missed by Fording) was the total failure of the operation.

It seems that even before this tragedy was exposed it had already succumbed to what was apparently the poor practices and lack of training of the simple hill people enlisted to farm the puppies.

Apparently there was some lack of understanding that resulted in them (the puppies) being planted too deep and too far apart for a successful crop.

In an effort to be fair I attempted to contact Fording to give him a chance to respond to the allegations raised by his failure to report these facts. However, the desk clerk at the motel 6 in Pompeno Fl (his last known address) stated he was no longer there and they in fact had “turned off the light” for Mr. Fording.
