Ominous Blog Reaction

A question for all commentors and various Little Comma providers:

How does it feel to be singlehandedly destroying the internet?

I hope Al Gore doesn’t sue.

Considering the frequency, content and quality of my regular comments; My negative impact on the internet will soon far out weigh any impact on the internet from Al Gore.

As far as the idiot who doesn’t like comments, well, he needs to remember one thing. Only a wise man truly knows that one should listen far more than one should speak.

Now little commas, let’s get to work tearing this thing apart. It’s going to be great fun!

Is it my turn to talk or am I still being wise?

I’m unsure of the problem. I get thousands and thousands of comments every day. Really. Far more than would be indicated by my site meter. (It’s a free meter, probably defective.) I just erase 99.9 percent of them. (The really dumb ones) So, if you find one of your comments still up on my site, if means that you are really really smart.

Tell all your friends, that way they can see if they are really really smart too.

I will spread the word to all my friends.

In fact, just by having the conversation with you I am already halfway there.

Al Gore’s picture looks a bit fake, oh never mind his fakeness is real.

It is genuine artificiality at its best.

I gotta say though I think that equation is something to live by.
Normal person+ Anonymity+ Audience= F@#%wad

I know I have been for quite some time.

I gotta say it feels pretty good. However, even though I am wrecking any set standard of internet quality with the idiocracy that has become my e-child, I cannot say that I’ve ruined it without some help. But, I’m just thrilled to be part of the team.

Internet Destruction, like any other professional sport is definitely a team effort. In fact, I’m thinking of starting league. We would need tacky bowling shirts and a catchy name.

Any suggestions?

I don’t have a problem with anonymous comments. I’ve had several, and none have been malicious in any way. In fact I used to blog in a much more private forum, I moved to Blogger specifically to allow people to comment without having to sign up for anything. Because, dude, raise your hand if you’re tired of signing up for stuff! “But it’s free!” “Who cares?”

I abhor the anonymous commentator, and I simply will not hold truck with such miscreants and ne’er do wells.

I would imagine anyone who has a blog, has or will encounter ANON comments. If they are appropriate then who cares if they are not tied to a name…if they are crappy just delete them. If they don’t go away, report them to the blog police: Diesel.

I for one have never made an inappropriate comment on this site. Oh except for the time I freaked out over the post on nailing jello to the wall. I think I even crashed his server.

I apologized and Brent, being the wonderful person he is, forgave me.

Blogs with no comment sections aren’t as much fun. Why blog if you can’t communicate with your readers or maybe the “God Complex” gets in the way.
