Welcome to the Ominous Comma

Welcome to my blog.

Although I have had some experience blogging over at myspace.com/dangercouch, this is my first solo effort, and so I want to let everyone know what to expect.

First of all, expect to be cheered, entertained and basically lavished with some of the the funniest contents of my overwrought brain.

Secondly, expect to receive regular, but not quite daily, installments of the aforementioned brain wroughtiness.

As much as I would love to promise daily doses of comedic brilliance, my full time employment, continuing college education, and the loving demands of my spouse and offspring limit the amount of time I can contribute right now. Not to mention my world domination duties over at Danger Couch. So I feel that an honest and realistic posting schedule will be best for everyone.

It is my intention to post tasty bits of home-style goodness every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and offer a full-length article once a month. So help me God.

Third, expect the unexpected. Because you’ll probably get it.

Have fun, enjoy your stay, and let me know what you think. I look forward to hearing from you.

Wow! I can’t believe that this site is actually up. I have waited my whole life to see this! (And I am ancient) Thank you so much for being willing to share your half wit with the world, you are a brave soul.

Thank you Lynn, I appreciate hearing from everyone, even geriatrics like yourself. My fondest wish is that someday the world will be ready for my full wit, but until that day you will have to settle for the same half as everyone else.

Greetings Brent!

I didn’t realize how much I missed you humor! Keep it Up! I haven’t laughed this much since the July 4th get together!

I know this site is no camping trip, but even without the mosquitoes and sunburn, we still manage to have some fun. It’s good to hear from you again. Give my best to your family.

Ahhh, as refreshing as a sniff in an old comfortable sneaker.
I have missed your writing!
I look forward to whatever wit escapes the straitjacket of your wroughted brain.

It’s good to hear from you too. With you and Longkev on board, it feels like old times.

Well, maybe not ‘old’ times, maybe more like ‘youthful-but-really-not-that-distant’ times. At least that’s what I tell the kids.

They don’t fall for it either.

Happy Tuesday

Thank you.

I have been impressed by the quality of your writing as well, and so your kind opinion of my work carries a little more weight than the possibly less-than-objective sentiments of my family.

As for the posting schedule, it was one of many ideas I ran across in other blogs. There is a very good post about it here.
