Due to work and family demands, I find myself having to cut back on the time I spend on the Ominous Comma.
I love writing this blog and will continue to do so indefinitely, but I am going to have to trim it back to just two times a week until at least the end of the summer.
I have a seasonal job that is extremely demanding right now, as well as a wonderful family that has been somewhat overlooked in my writing endeavors, so this will be my last Friday post for a while.
I intend to continue writing humor for a long time to come, eventually even in a paid capacity, but for right now I must concentrate on the right now, which has always been a challenge for me.

This is terrible news, sir, but at least your reasons are honourable.
I wish you all the best for your endeavours, and raise a glass in your honour. It is an empty glass, alas, but I simply could not resist having a drink beforehand.
Your family is far more important than the little commas. We will survive most of us are adults.
Fridays will never be the same (tears welling up).
We do completely understand and support your decision (it being your life and all).

I have to de-pit all those cherries.
It’s hard and juicy work, but I sleep well at night knowing that I have done my part to keep America clean and pit-free.
